The Bihor Tribunal sentenced Victor Micula for illegal access to computer systems, receiving a sentence of 3 years and 1 month in prison. Three involved police officers were also sentenced for complicity. The trial began after an investigation by the Bihor County Anti-Corruption Service, which uncovered the collaboration of the police officers with Micula. The sentence is not final and can be appealed to the Oradea Court of Appeal.
