On Friday evening, a wildfire broke out in the locality of Streisângeorgiu, Hunedoara County, rapidly spreading over an area of 60 hectares, reaching near the Măgura Monastery. Firefighters from several units, along with volunteers and locals, intervened to extinguish the fire and protect the monastic site. Although the fire was extinguished, the intervention teams remained in the area to prevent the fire from reigniting.
