Vasile Rodideal, detained in Russia, was brought to Romania after his arrest

Vasile Rodideal, a Romanian citizen, was detained and arrested in Russia in February 2025 at the request of Interpol.

Recently, he was brought to Otopeni Airport in Bucharest, where authorities discovered that he was living under a false identity, Vasili Kravtsov. His identity was established through fingerprint analysis. When asked by journalists about the charges against him, Rodideal refused to provide an answer.

He was sentenced in Romania to a punishment of 12 years and 6 months in prison for multiple offenses, including forming an organized crime group, possession of ammunition without authorization, incitement to qualified murder, and driving a vehicle while under suspension of the right to drive.
