USR Sector 6 has initiated the process for the elimination of gambling from neighborhoods

USR Sector 6 has initiated a campaign to eliminate gambling from Bucharest, highlighting its harmful impact on the community, especially on young people and vulnerable individuals. Mihaela Ștefan, the leader of the USR Sector 6 counselors, stated that this measure represents a victory of common sense, mentioning that gambling halls have invaded neighborhoods, affecting families and communities.

The project was submitted in March to the General Council of Bucharest, and the final decision regarding its implementation will belong to this council. USR has urged the mayor and CGMB to take into account the will of the community and to act in favor of the health and safety of citizens by eliminating gambling operators from the central and densely populated areas of the city.
