Artificial intelligence is entering a phase where it can replace humans, and the school must keep pace with the change, warns the rector of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Mihnea Costoiu, at the Profit.ro Marathon "School after ChatGPT".

"It is a major paradigm shift that society is going through. It is, keeping proportions, a new industrial revolution," said Costoiu, pointing out that, unlike previous stages, new technologies not only assist humans but can also take over activities and even replace them in certain processes. "There are decisions that artificial intelligence makes, including life and death decisions," he added.
