An unexploded grenade was found in the area of the Galați train station. The bomb disposal experts have isolated the area.

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, the Galati Emergency Situations Inspectorate received a call to 112 regarding the discovery of a possible munition element in the area of the train station in the municipality. The bomb disposal team intervened quickly and identified an unexploded grenade shell. The area was secured during the intervention, and the munition was collected and transported safely to be stored and later destroyed at a special range. Authorities warn citizens not to touch suspicious metal objects and to immediately report by calling 112 if they encounter such elements.
