At the end of July, unemployment in Bucharest stood at 0.79%, down slightly. Around 10,000 people were looking for work, 57% of them women. Also, 25% of the unemployed were aged 40-49 and only 237 people were under 25. Nationally, most of the unemployed were aged 40-49.
