Q1 2025 data show an unemployment rate of 6.3% for males and 6.1% for females, a difference of 0.2 percentage points. In rural areas, the unemployment rate was 9.5%, compared with 3.4% in urban areas. Young people aged 15-24 had the highest unemployment rate at 24.6%. The employment rate of the working-age population was 62.7%, down 0.3 percentage points from the fourth quarter of 2024. Males had an employment rate of 71.3%, and youth had an employment rate of 17.2%.
