Two young men have been arrested for attempted robbery after they broke into the home of an elderly woman and assaulted her.

The two young men from Constanta, aged 25 and 26, broke into a woman's home in Bucharest and beat her to tell them where she kept her money, but left without stealing anything. They were detained for 24 hours and are to be brought before magistrates. Police executed two house search warrants and two arrest warrants in Constanta County.
