Two people from Slatina, a 48-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, were apprehended by the police after stealing a bank card and making 33 fraudulent transactions, causing a damage of approximately 20,000 lei.

The incident was reported on November 3, and the police launched an investigation for theft and cybercrime. The suspects were identified after a series of inquiries, and on December 7, the police conducted a search at their home, where they found items relevant to the case. The two were interrogated and subsequently apprehended, and will be presented to the prosecutor with legal proposals. The investigations are coordinated by the Olt Criminal Investigation Service, with the support of other police units.
