The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases of the Republic of Moldova has detained two individuals in the case of the truck full of weapons stopped at the Leușeni - Albita Customs.

The investigation is coordinated in Romania by DIICOT, which has not announced specific measures until now. The Moldovan authorities have opened a criminal investigation under the Penal Code for the illegal introduction of prohibited weapons and ammunition.
