Two men have been arrested in Timișoara for drug trafficking, being caught with 3.3 kg of 4CMC and 750 g of cocaine.

The Timisoara Organized Crime Fighting Brigade, together with DIICOT, apprehended two men, aged 31 and 46, for high-risk drug trafficking. They were caught in the act on January 27, 2026, while attempting to sell approximately 3.3 kilograms of crystalline substance 4CMC and 750 grams of cocaine for the sum of 162,600 lei.

The criminal activity was documented throughout January, when the 46-year-old man sold drugs worth 15,000 lei. Following the searches, other quantities of drugs, electronic scales, and other evidence were discovered. The two men are to be presented to the judges with a proposal for preventive detention for 30 days.
