Tudorel Toader, former judge of the Constitutional Court, stated that he perceives a desire to resolve the project of judges' pensions, after the CCR set a new deadline for deliberations. He emphasized that the political class has created hostility between civil society and judges, which he considers to be unbeneficial.

Toader mentioned that the ICCJ raised the issue of referring to the European Court of Justice to verify the compatibility of legislative measures with EU law. He also noted that judge Gheorghe Stan returned from vacation to participate in the meeting, which suggests a desire to complete the process. Regarding the response deadline from the CJEU, Toader stated that if the CCR makes a referral, it will receive a response within a reasonable timeframe.
