Transelectrica has declared that the National Electric Power System (SEN) is operating under "difficult conditions," caused by the severe drought affecting Romania and the region.
The company mentioned that it is implementing operational measures to maintain safety in operation, continuously monitoring system parameters and coordinating operations in real-time, in collaboration with institutions and transport and system operators in Romania and Europe.
Additionally, Transelectrica emphasized that, although the system is under "operational stress," there are no risks of major failures and that the electricity supply is being maintained safely through operational measures.
