The train service on the Eforie Nord – Eforie Sud section was temporarily interrupted today, July 5, 2026, starting at 1:40 PM, due to a broken rail. CFR Călători announced that CFR SA personnel are intervening to remedy the situation and resume service in safe conditions. The temporary stop measure was taken to ensure railway safety, according to applicable procedures.

Intervention teams are on their way to the site to carry out technical checks and the necessary repair work. The broken rail represents a discontinuity that requires the intervention of specialists before traffic can resume. After assessing the situation on-site, the technical teams will determine the remedy solution. Until the intervention is completed, trains in the area may experience delays, and CFR SA is maintaining communication with railway transport operators to inform passengers.
