A young man from Bistrița-Năsăud died after falling with his motorcycle into a ravine during an enduro session. The accident took place near the Heniu Mare Peak.

The mountain outing turned into a tragedy for a 19-year-old from Bistrița-Năsăud, who died following an accident while practicing enduro. The incident occurred in a rugged area near the Heniu Mare Peak, where the teenager was with other motocross enthusiasts from the Prundu-Bârgăului locality.

After falling into a ravine, the young man was found unconscious by SMURD crews and the Bistrița-Năsăud County Mountain Rescue Service, who quickly intervened at the scene. Resuscitation efforts were initiated immediately, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful, and the young man was pronounced dead. The victim was the son of the deputy mayor of Prundu-Bârgăului, and this tragic accident left the community in shock.
