The circulation of road vehicles with a maximum authorized total weight (MTMA) greater than 7.5 tons will be restricted on several sections of national roads and highways during the period of April 9 - 13, 2026, on the occasion of the Easter Holidays, according to the announcement made by the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR).

On the A2 Bucharest - Constanța Highway, the restrictions will be active in both directions on April 9 and 11, between 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM, and on April 10, 12, and 13, between 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM. On DN7, the restrictions apply between Pitești and Râmnicu Vâlcea, and on DN39, between Agigea and Mangalia, during the same time intervals. CNAIR warns that non-compliance with these restrictions constitutes an offense and is punishable by a fine.
