CNAIR has announced the establishment of traffic restrictions on Sunday, June 28, between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, for vehicles with a total authorized weight greater than 7.5 tons on national roads, expressways, and highways in the counties of Hunedoara, Arad, Alba, Bihor, Cluj, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Maramureș, Bistrița Năsăud, Suceava, Botoșani, Mureș, Harghita, Covasna, Brașov, and Sibiu.

These measures are implemented as a result of heat warnings issued by the National Meteorological Administration, which include yellow, orange, and red codes for extreme heat waves.

The restrictions are intended to protect road infrastructure from damage caused by heavy traffic under extreme temperature conditions.

Exemptions from these restrictions include the transport of people, live animals, perishable goods, emergency interventions, funeral transports, and other specific categories.
