The Infotrafic Center of the Romanian Police has informed that on the A1 Sibiu – Deva Highway, traffic is taking place under conditions of heavy snowfall, with snow deposits on the kilometer sections 254 – 280 and 334 – 412. Similar conditions are encountered on DN 7 Râmnicu Vâlcea – Sibiu, between the localities of Căineni and Boița. Authorities recommend drivers to inform themselves about the weather conditions and restrictions on the route before setting off. It is essential to ensure good visibility by cleaning the windows and to adjust speed to the traffic conditions.

Additionally, vehicles must be equipped with winter tires to drive safely on roads covered with ice or snow. The Romanian Police emphasizes the importance of allowing access for snow removal equipment to avoid traffic jams.
