The incident took place on the beach in Mamaia, where a 71-year-old pensioner was robbed by two men who stole his handbag containing a phone and bank cards. The thieves carried out six fraudulent transactions before being caught by police officers on the same beach. The goods were recovered and the phone was returned to the pensioner. Investigations are continuing to establish further details of the offenses.
