TVR 1 will broadcast live the Sanremo Festival 2026, between February 24-28.

Between February 24 and 28, 2026, TVR 1 will bring to the homes of Romanians the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival, an emblematic event of Italian music. The broadcast will start each evening at 21:00, offering five nights of music and emotion. The hosts of the festival will be Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini, and the competition will feature established artists and talented young performers.

The final night will culminate with the selection of Italy's representative for Eurovision 2026, with special guest Andrea Bocelli, who will pay tribute to Italian music. The scenography will be created by Riccardo Bocchini, promising an innovative design. The moderators from Bucharest, Bogdan Stănescu and Kyrie Mendel, will provide a unique perspective on the festival, highlighting its cultural and social importance.
