The interim Minister of National Defense, Radu Miruță, announces the rescue of the Sadu Mechanical Plant, which will produce ammunition under the SAFE program.

The interim Minister of National Defense, Radu Miruță, stated that the Sadu Mechanical Plant will be saved and will start producing ammunition, according to the final decision within the SAFE program.

This is an important achievement, considering that the plant will be modernized and will operate with 100% production in Romania, thus contributing to the local economy. Miruță emphasized that this project does not involve the purchase of products from abroad, but focuses on the re-technologization of the factory and the creation of new jobs. The production of ammunition on national territory will bring additional security guarantees for Romania.
