AEM SA, the meter factory in Timișoara, entered insolvency last year, and its activity was suspended in 2023. The reorganization plan, which aimed to restart production and attract financing, was approved only by shareholders, not by creditors. With debts of over 356 million lei, AEM SA is facing an asset evaluation of approximately 125 million lei, which led to the bankruptcy filing.
