The Prahova Tribunal has decided to open insolvency proceedings for Petrotel Lukoil

The Prahova Tribunal pronounced on Wednesday the decision to open the general insolvency procedure for Petrotel Lukoil, according to Law no. 85/2014.

Dascăl Insolvency SPRL has been appointed as the provisional judicial administrator, with a fee of 3,500 lei. The court ordered the notification of the opening of the procedure to the company, creditors, and the Trade Register Office, as well as the publication of relevant information. The deadline for registering creditor claims is September 9, 2026, and by September 29, the administrator will verify the claims and prepare the preliminary table. The finalization of this is scheduled for October 23, 2026. The creditors' meeting will take place on October 3, 2026. The court has suspended legal actions for the recovery of claims against the company.

Petrotel Lukoil confirmed the decision to enter insolvency, stating that this is a necessary measure for the relaunch of its activity.
