The PACE group, made up of parliamentarians who resigned from POT, announced the submission of a simple motion against the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu. She is accused of a "defective, ideologized, and uncoordinated" manner in representing Romania's interests within the EU - Mercosur Agreement.

The motion, signed by 12 PACE senators from Romania and 34 AUR senators, emphasizes that foreign policy is not a theoretical exercise and that the decisions made have direct consequences on the economy and the lives of citizens. The signatories believe that Oana Ţoiu's choice to support the Agreement was a politically assumed option, having profound negative effects on Romanian agriculture.
