The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued warnings for severe weather, including a red code for Cluj County, valid Wednesday until 17:15, where torrential downpours are forecasted to accumulate over 30-35 l/m², accompanied by electrical discharges.
Atmospheric instability will affect most of the country in the next 48 hours, and in some regions, the heat wave will also persist. Additionally, an orange code is in effect for Constanța and Tulcea counties, where downpours of 35-40 l/m² and hail are expected. ANM has also issued an orange code for heightened atmospheric instability for Banat, Crișana, Transylvania, Oltenia, and Muntenia, with gusts and water quantities of 25-40 l/m².
A new yellow code for atmospheric instability will come into effect on Thursday, and for Thursday afternoon, ANM has issued a yellow code for heatwave for Maramureș, Transylvania, and northern Moldova, with temperatures of 31-34 degrees Celsius.
