The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Oana Ţoiu, announces 300 new hires in full austerity.

The new hires target a wide range of positions, from diplomatic attachés and consular agents to lawyers, accountants, and specialists in sensitive areas such as military export control.

Oana Ţoiu justified the decision by stating that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is facing a major staff shortage, caused by retirements and massive departures from the system. She stated that the ministry is operating "at its limit" and that human resources are essential for representing Romania abroad and managing external files.
