The Ministry of Finance and ANAF have announced the launch of the 'iBon' application, a free platform for mobile phones, available from May 18, 2026, which allows users to quickly check the accuracy of fiscal receipts.

The application will be available for download from Google Play and the App Store and will offer functionalities such as scanning fiscal receipts, uploading photos, and manually entering data for hard-to-read receipts. Users can send complaints to ANAF for various encountered issues, such as not receiving the fiscal receipt. The Ministry of Finance emphasizes that the application does not replace official complaint submission mechanisms but provides a simple verification tool. The purpose of the application is to promote voluntary compliance and improve the relationship between the tax administration and taxpayers.

User feedback will be taken into account for the further development of the application, which will enter a second development phase in the second semester of the year.
