The Ministry of Finance announces the launch, on August 10, 2026, of the eighth edition of the TEZAUR government bonds program, which will allow individuals to invest in bonds with maturities of 1, 3, and 5 years, having annual interest rates of 6.20%, 6.75%, and 7.15%.

The subscription period runs from August 10 to September 4, 2026, and the income obtained is tax-exempt. The bonds can be purchased online through the Ghișeul.ro platform or from the State Treasury units and through postal subunits. Investors can make multiple subscriptions and have the option to cancel subscriptions during the subscription period. The funds obtained will be used to finance the budget deficit and refinance public debt. The Ministry of Finance has prepared a guide for the rapid transfer of funds from the TEZAUR account to personal bank accounts.
