The Ministry of Education and Research has launched the procedure to ensure equal opportunities in the national Bacalaureat exam 2026, aimed at students with visual, hearing impairments, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Parents must submit the necessary documents before the simulation of the written tests, including a school orientation certificate or a disability certificate. Applications are reviewed by county commissions, which decide on approval or rejection.

For students with visual impairments, options such as Braille writing, dictation, or the use of assistive technology are offered. Students with hearing impairments can benefit from interpreters in sign language, while those with neurodevelopmental disorders may have assistants to help them focus. The procedure also details specific adaptations for different types of disabilities, ensuring an accessible and fair exam environment.

Additionally, common organizational measures are mentioned, such as extending working time and the possibility of taking exams in separate rooms, with audio-video supervision. This initiative aims to create a supportive framework for all students, regardless of the challenges they face.
