The Ministry of Education has launched for public debate the calendar and methodology of national assessments for the 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades, scheduled for May 2026.

National assessments will begin on May 12, 2026, with the Language and Communication test for second-grade students, followed by fourth grade on May 19 and sixth grade on May 26. The methodology provides for 45-minute tests for second grade and 60-minute tests for fourth and sixth grades. The assessments will take place during class hours, and the results will not be displayed or recorded in the register. Teachers in each unit will evaluate the tests, ensuring a fair assessment tailored to the needs of the students.
