The Minister of Education and Research, Daniel David, stated that he is closely monitoring cases of violence in schools, especially after the emergence of images showing a teacher being assaulted by a student in Caransebeș. The incident, recorded in 2022, was managed at the school level, without police involvement. David emphasized the importance of mutual respect among students, teachers, and parents, highlighting that modern education is based on effective collaboration among these actors, but also the fact that abuses of any kind are too prevalent in schools.

The ministry has implemented measures such as the 'red button' for reporting abusive behaviors and the option for anonymous reports. David promised that, based on feedback from the educational system, additional measures will be introduced to prevent violence and dysfunctional behaviors in schools.
