Irineu Darău requests a report in Parliament after the cyber attack on ANCPI: "Speculations regarding the data must be clarified"

The interim Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Irineu Darău, stated that, after the cyber attack on the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI), the leadership of the institution must present a report in Parliament that clarifies any suspicion regarding a possible loss or sale of data. At the same time, he argued that the individuals and companies affected by the disruptions caused by the incident should not bear the consequences of the delays caused by the state and appreciated the rapid intervention of the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), emphasizing the need for more effective preventive measures in institutions that manage critical infrastructures.
