Replica of the MARTA bus from 1908, under construction in Arad, will be a mobile cultural space and will be completed in spring.

The project of the replica of the double-decker bus MARTA, manufactured in Arad in 1908, is progressing, and the first images from the construction workshop have been published. The engine has been successfully tested, and the ROBAC Industries team is now working on the body and interior furnishings.

The bus, designed as a mobile cultural space, will promote tourism and local heritage. Although the project has faced delays, the manager of HUB Cultural 'mARTA', Ovidiu Balint, confirmed that the bus will be ready this spring, with a possible appearance on the streets in June, during the Underground Festival. The bus will be electric and is a replica of the model produced by the first automobile factory in Romania, MARTA, which has a rich history in vehicle production.
