The Judicial Inspection published a statement on December 22, highlighting that it constantly monitors the random allocation of cases and the activity of the courts. It details how it controls the activity of the management boards and the compliance with regulations regarding the random allocation of cases. The Inspection conducted a thematic control at the national level, analyzing the practice of the courts in appeals against the decisions of the management boards and verifying the legal provisions regarding the reasoning of judicial decisions in criminal matters.
Among the aspects analyzed are the material and human resources of the courts, the volume of activity, performance indicators, and the functioning of the random allocation system. Additionally, the Judicial Inspection mentioned that the new justice laws no longer allow for the sanctioning of judges for behaviors that affect the honor of the profession, but maintain disciplinary offenses for undignified attitudes and political activities during service.
