The Indian Ambassador to Bucharest, Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, faced difficulties in reaching a conference organized by the Brașov Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was to meet with a delegation of Indian businesspeople. He chose to travel by train but got stuck near Sinaia due to a locomotive malfunction, arriving with a delay of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
In contrast, the Indian businesspeople who traveled by car arrived on time. This meeting is significant as it marks the first visit of a high-ranking official from India to Brașov, where there are 23 active Indian firms in fields such as IT, automotive, and defense. The ambassador emphasized the importance of this collaboration for the future of trade between India and Romania.
