In the Government meeting on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu informed about the status of the implementation of measure 443 from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which provides for the restructuring or listing on the stock exchange of certain state companies by August 31, 2026. The spokesperson for the Executive, Ioana Dogioiu, pointed out delays and risks associated with several companies included in the plan agreed with the European Commission. Among the targeted companies are Telecomunicații CFR-SA, Tipografica Filaret SA, and Electrocentrale Grup SA.

In particular, Tipografica Filaret is facing significant delays, and the Government has requested the Ministry of Transport to expedite the procedures. Additionally, Telecomunicații CFR-SA is on schedule, but with a reduced margin of error, while for Electrocentrale Grup SA there are legal risks that require urgent clarifications. The Government has decided to monitor the progress of implementation weekly and to report constantly to meet the commitments made through the PNRR.
