The Minister of Investments, Dragoș Pîslaru, declared on Thursday that the Government has a clear plan for implementing the reforms from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which will be monitored every two weeks. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of a political majority and collaboration between ministries to ensure the completion of these reforms.
During the government meeting, the schedule of critical measures was discussed, each having a substantial penalty estimated at over 770 million euros. Among the mentioned reforms are legislative changes for water resource management, decarbonization of the heating and cooling sector, as well as tax and salary reforms. Pîslaru stated that there is no scenario in which these reforms will not be fulfilled, considering the associated penalties. He also highlighted the bipartisan collaboration among ministers to advance these reforms, emphasizing that it is essential for Romania to meet the commitments made in the PNRR, in the context of current international challenges.
