The Romanian government approves the RDDA network for monitoring farms: the system becomes operational from 2027

The Romanian government has adopted an emergency ordinance for the establishment of the Agricultural Sustainability Data Network (RDDA), an information system that will monitor the activity of farms in Romania from an economic, environmental, and social perspective. The new platform, which replaces the current RICA system, is part of the commitments made at the European Union level and will allow for a more complex analysis of the agricultural sector, set to become operational starting in 2027, with predominantly European funding.
