The general councilors of the Capital will meet on Wednesday to analyze several essential projects, including the modernization and strengthening of the Metropolitan Circus, estimated at 166 million lei. Additionally, there will be discussions about contracting a loan of up to 279 million lei for refinancing local public debts. Another important item on the agenda concerns possible layoffs at STB, where 700-800 employees could be affected, and the STB budget may include 12 severance payments. Projects for modernizing traffic lights and installing 220 charging stations for electric vehicles are also on the agenda. The councilors will also review the transfer of the Summer Theater for rehabilitation, as well as the acquisition of land for the development of green spaces.
