The Vâlcea gendarmes confiscated over 4,000 pyrotechnic items from a 32-year-old man who was trying to sell them in the Central Square of Drăgășani without authorization. He was discovered during an operation aimed at combating illegal trade in pyrotechnic products.

The man was conducting his activity discreetly, approaching passersby and suggesting they purchase fireworks in a confidential tone. The items were hidden in a strategically placed trash bin to mask the illegal activity. The gendarmes seized the entire quantity of pyrotechnic materials and handed the case over to the police for further investigation. In the last month, the gendarmes have confiscated over 10,000 illegal pyrotechnic items from Drăgășani and intend to continue actions to prevent this type of trade.
