An internal review of the salary increase calculations has led to the summons of 2,857 gendarmes from Bucharest to return amounts improperly received, averaging 1,200 lei, due to an error in the percentage increases. They have been officially informed and can contest the decision in court. At the same time, over 700 gendarmes will receive retroactive salary differences, which creates an inequity among colleagues. The person responsible for the error has been reassigned, and those affected are being called to sign payment commitments.
