Raisa Enachi is the only parliamentarian who voted against the Femicide Law, a detail noted in the context in which the opposition came even from a woman. The independent deputy justified her decision by citing possible legal issues with the project, arguing that it would duplicate existing legislation and create confusion, while the overwhelming majority of deputies supported the adoption of the law, which is set to be promulgated.
