The authorities have decided to evacuate the locality of Plauru in Tulcea County, following a serious incident in which a ship loaded with 4,000 tons of LPG was hit by a drone on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube. The Tulcea Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) confirmed the evacuation but did not provide further details.

Additionally, the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) reported a new drone attack near the border with Romania, but no unauthorized incursions into national airspace were detected. ISU Tulcea received four calls to the emergency number, in which citizens reported sounds similar to bombings and requested additional information.
