The Europol Union issued a warning on Facebook, asking citizens not to leave their homes after 10:00 PM in the resort of Sovata, due to the lack of police officers on duty. The leadership of IPJ Mureș planned that, after this hour, the judicial police structures would not have personnel on duty, which means that rapid intervention in case of incidents, such as thefts or violent acts, will be limited. Police officers will be called from their free time only in emergency situations. Union members emphasize that they have made numerous complaints regarding the poor organization of public order services, but all requests for changes to the work schedule have been rejected by the leadership of IPJ Mureș. This situation raises concerns about public safety in the resort.

"ATTENTION! For your safety, we ask you NOT to leave your homes or accommodation spaces after 10:00 PM in the resort of Sovata!"
