The European Commission has proposed an emergency support package of 49.8 million euros for farmers in six member states, including Romania, which received the second largest allocation. The Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu, emphasized the importance of this support for farmers in the fruit and wine sectors, affected by the late frost. The Ministry of Agriculture is already working on implementing measures for the rapid provision of compensation.
