The President of the Ethics Commission of the University of Craiova, Sorin Enache, announced that the commission members will meet on Monday to discuss the possible self-referral following plagiarism allegations against the Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu. He obtained his doctorate in Law in 2009 at the mentioned university.

The meeting, scheduled to start at 14:00, will also include the topic of plagiarism, in the context of an article published by PressOne, which claims that more than half of his doctoral thesis is plagiarized. Although the Commission has not received any official complaint until now, Enache mentioned that the issue will be discussed under the "various" agenda item. Radu Marinescu has rejected the allegations, stating that his thesis complied with the legislation in force at the time he obtained the title.
