Bogdan Ivan announces that the energy group number 4 at the Rovinari Power Plant has started to produce energy for the National Energy System.

The former Minister of Energy announced on Facebook that the energy group number 4 at the Rovinari Power Plant has started producing energy for the National Energy System starting at 14:30. He emphasized the importance of this achievement, stating that the energy produced in the country contributes to the security of the energy system, to the economy, and to the well-being of Romanians.

Ivan mentioned that the equipment has been put back into operation without issues, and that each production capacity is essential in the context of the current energy crisis. He also promised support for maintaining the activity of three groups at Rovinari and one at Turceni, highlighting collaboration with PSD and C.E. Oltenia. The dismissed Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan previously announced that the deficit of electricity generated by the disconnection of the nuclear power plant at Cernavodă will be compensated from various sources, including by activating the reserve group at Rovinari.
