The electoral campaign for the partial local elections on December 7, 2025 ends on December 6, 7:00 AM

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) announces that the electoral campaign for the local partial elections on December 7, 2025, will end on Saturday, December 6, at 07:00. Starting from this hour and until the closing of the polling stations on Sunday at 21:00, any form of electoral propaganda is prohibited.

AEP calls on electoral competitors to respect these regulations to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process. The local partial elections concern the position of president of the Buzău County Council, the general mayor of Bucharest, and mayors from 12 localities. Voting will take place in 1,771 polling stations, and voter turnout will be available in real-time on the AEP website. Results will be published immediately after the voting ends.
