The Dolphinarium in Constanța has completed a new training pool, an investment of 17 million lei, after almost seven years of waiting. The new pool, with a depth of 5.2 meters and an area of 670 square meters, will significantly contribute to the physical and mental well-being of the dolphins, providing them with more space for movement, play, and training.

Although the new pool is designed to enrich the dolphins' environment, the Dolphinarium is facing a shortage of mammals, having only the female Ni Ni as the sole resident after the death of Chen-Chen. The director of CMSN, Dănuț Dincă, mentioned that new dolphins are being sought, but negotiations with various countries, including Cuba, have not been successful. Until March, there is a contract with a dolphinarium in Ukraine to bring in new specimens.
